Kiss Kiss

Harrison has learned to give kisses! He leans in with his mouth puckered (ok, sometimes it's open and a bit sloppy) and plants a big one! He even makes a little "mmmmmmm" sounds to go along with it. Needless to say, he is being asked for a lot of kisses these days!

Bubbles

Today was playgroup day and we met at one of the playgrounds instead of a home. We do this every few weeks and the kids love it, even though they tend to do their own thing at the playground. Except when the bubbles come out. Then everyone congregates near the bubble person, chasing and popping bubbles, and waiting (im)patiently for a chance to blow their own bubbles.

Bragging Rights

Matt and I, along with our partners Wendy and Garret, are the reigning Duri Dart Champions. To mark the accomplishment, we (read: Matt and Garret) went ahead and bought ourselves these trophies. We intend to display them at every future dart match with the idea that they will wreak psychological havoc on our opponents. Whaddya think - would you be scared???

Communicating

Living so far away from family can be difficult, so we're grateful for technology that lets us do things like wish Grandma happy birthday in "person" (and for the record, her bday is 2/20, but due to the time difference we talked to her on 2/21 in Indonesia).

Worn Out

Matt crashed after the fun night we spent dealing with Hayden's food poisoning.

Giving Lina her gift turned into an impromptu present opening/celebration on the kitchen floor. A good time was had by all.

Gardening

One of Hayden's new favorite activities is to help our gardener, Sun (pronounced soon), water our bamboo hedge. Of course, it's often hard to tell who or what is getting watered, but Hayden enjoys it all the same!

Young Love

Hayden is smitten with Ashley, who at 4, is 1.5 years older than he. They had the best time at the Jim Valley concert dancing and hanging out!

Slides Are Fun!

Someone forgot to tell Harrison that he isn't quite ready to be sliding by himself!

White

We don't have sidewalks in Duri, so we walk in the street. The white line is Hayden's favorite place to walk, so he is always on the lookout for one. Even if he is riding in the stroller, we must walk on the white line! This line happens to be on the (long) way from our house to the playground.

Pink

This is one of the flowers we have in our yard. I'm not usually much of a pink person, but I happen to love the vibrancy of this pink and the pop it brings to our yard. I think I also like it because it reminds me a lot of Hawaii, one of my favorite places to be.
